Trichloroethylene (TCE), also known as acetylated trichloride, is a colorless, slightly sweet volatile liquid and highly soluble solvent. It is insoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether. Under normal conditions, it is non flammable and is suitable for gas washing due to its moderate boiling point, high steam pressure, strong stability, and suitability. It is used in industry for metal cleaning (thorough degreasing) and fiber degreasing.

Application: Metal surface treatment agents, cleaning agents, degreasing agents, textile detergents. Pesticide production also requires trichloroethylene. Oil stains are clean, and it can also act as a glue remover.
